Privacy policy and data accuracy on HNS Scoreboard

The hns.family Scoreboard displays current data from COMET, the platform for managing football competitions of the Croatian Football Federation.

Players' personal data are processed on the hns.family platform under the title "Scoreboard" in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, and the legal basis for such processing is "legitimate interest". In particular, the data is processed in such a way that it is available to the public for scientific research, analysis of football history, football promotion and enabling easier monitoring of all competitions by players, media and fans. Given such a legal basis for the processing of personal data, registered players who are not content with the accuracy of the data or do not want this data to be publicly available have the right to object and request the updating or deletion of the data from the hns.family platform under the heading "Scoreboard" via e-mail email [email protected], and HNS, if the complaint is justified, will act on the player's request.

The Croatian Football Federation makes every effort to ensure that all displayed data is accurate, complete and up-to-date. In this process, the key role is performed by county associations and competition commissioners who are responsible for entering certain data into COMET, as well as clubs who are responsible for updating certain information.

In the event that certain information is missing or displayed incorrectly, please contact the competent county football association, club or competition commissioner.

In the coming period, the Croatian Football Federation will continue to edit, harmonize and revise competition names and other data so that they are consistently displayed and easier to search. We thank you for your understanding as we work diligently on this process, which includes thousands of competitions, hundreds of thousands of matches and millions of data.

The COMET platform has been used to run competitions since the 2004/05 season, and ALL the competitions that have been run through COMET since then, more than 7000 of them, are available here. Unfortunately, other competitions cannot be accessed through this platform, as well as competitions organized before 2004. HNS will work to retroactively complete the database for the Croatian Football League (the highest level of competition).
